Position Description:
The Sr. IT Project Support Specialist works with the Vice President of Information Technology and others in the IT department to help lead projects to successful completion by applying their expertise in planning, coordination, resource management, risk mitigation, communication, and quality assurance. Additionally, this position will ensure compliance with regulations and both internal and external policies.

Primary Responsibilities:
  1. Oversee and manage audit and compliance initiatives to ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and internal policies.
  2. Provide comprehensive project management for Information Technology projects, ensuring timely and successful completion.
  3. Lead and manage the change management process to facilitate smooth transitions and minimize disruptions.
  4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and address project risks and issues.
  5. Develop and maintain project documentation, including project plans, status reports, and risk management plans.
  6. Conduct regular project reviews and provide updates to stakeholders on project progress and performance.
Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in project management or related roles is highly beneficial.
  • Experience in a non-profit organization preferred.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  • Ability to take proactive steps in managing projects and anticipating potential issues.
  • Excellent written and oral communications skills are required.
  • Ability to analyze project data and generate reports to inform decision-making.
  • Ability to Interact with staff with a service orientation.
  • Ability to stay organized while executing multiple projects.
  • Ability to maintain professional, confidential work environment.
Work Conditions:
  • Environment: Office-based - Required to work onsite.
  • Range of Schedule:  Mon – Fri, 7:00 am to 8:00 pm
  • Travel: None
