Position Description:
The Digital Fundraising Specialist is responsible for developing and implementing compelling digital campaigns across email, web, SMS, social media, and digital advertising platforms to drive donor acquisition, retention, and long-term engagement. This position will lead our efforts in acquiring, cultivating, soliciting, stewarding and deepening our digital donor base.  The Specialist will play a key role in maximizing automation tools, advancing digital campaigns, and growing participation in special giving initiatives such as recurring giving, peer-to-peer fundraising, corporate match funds, and tribute donations.

Primary Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute a multi-channel digital messaging strategy (web, email, SMS, social media, digital ads) tailored for fundraising, aligned with DePelchin’s mission and brand voice.
  • Write compelling, donor-centric fundraising copy for emails, website assets, social media, and digital ads.
  • Build and deploy emails, donation forms, landing pages, SMS messages, and digital lightboxes to drive donor acquisition, retention, and long-term engagement.
  • Create and manage automated donor journeys including onboarding, second-gift, sustainer, pre-lapsing, reactivation, and stewardship communications.
  • Use segmentation and data-driven insights to personalize donor experiences and improve retention and lifetime value.
  • Lead targeted efforts to expand and sustain special giving programs, including monthly giving, peer-to-peer fundraising, corporate matching gifts, and tribute giving.
  • Partner with Donor Relations to grow the $1,000+ donor pipeline through integrated digital and prospect identification.
  • Coordinate with Marketing and Communications, Donor Relations and vendors to ensure digital strategy is fully aligned and integrated with broader organizational campaigns, brand standards, and communications strategies across digital, print, and event channels to create a cohesive experience for supporters.
Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Certified Fund Raising Executive (CFRE).
  • One (1) year experience with digital fundraising.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  • Knowledge of social media platforms and fundraising components of Meta- including Facebook and Instagram, with an ability to tailor content for different audiences.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook), including SharePoint and Teams.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, service-oriented environment with staff, volunteers and key stakeholders
  • Ability to  quickly learn the role of DePelchin in the community and create impactful fundraising strategies based on the agencies' evolving needs.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects with competing deadlines with a strong attention to detail.
Work Conditions:
  • Environment: Hybrid
  • Range of Schedule:  Mon – Fri, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm; Occasional nights or weekends.
  • Travel: Occasional (Must have valid Texas Driver License and current Auto Insurance)
